If I could become one of the characters in this book I would be Robinson Crusoe. I would choose to be Robinson because he is very courageous. He shows that he is courageous by going out of hi fortification and by walking all around on the island he is on. He also shows that he is courageous by making a sail boat and by sailing out in the ocean around the island he is on. I would also want to be Robinson because he is very smart. He shows that he is smart by knowing what he needs to ration for the cold and rainy months. He also shows that he is smart because he dried out the grapes so they would last him longer and not rot out. I dislike this writing because it is very hard to follow and understand. I think this writing is hard to follow because it talks about the things that he writes down in his daily journal and I can never figure out if what he is talking about is actually happening in the present time or if it is being told out of his journal. I think it is also very hard to understand. I think this because the author uses a lot of very different words than that of which we use today. This is hard to understand because I do not hear these words in the present day and most of the time cannot comprehend what they are supposed to mean. I like the idea of portraying Robinson all alone on an island because it makes the piece of writing a lot more interesting to read.
